Sportsman Charity

Sportsmen For Charity

In 1996 a group of Grundy and Will County businessmen, with a common interest in outdoor sports and a desire to help those less fortunate, created Sportsmen for Charity. The early years produced some good results through Golf Outings, Shooting Events and Raffles. In 1999 an annual event was started and has grown steadily with each passing year. Together these events to date have provided $1,500,000.00 to local Charities. Last year we were able to contribute $100,000 to Center for Disability Services, (formerly UCP) , $13,000 to Hope Helps, $7,500 to Big Brother/Big Sisters, $5,000 to Special Connections, and $10,000 to Operation St Nick and other local charitable organizations.
